  • Our Roots

    Ever since our family launched Cleveland, Tennessee's first Ford dealership back in 1911, we have dedicated ourselves to helping people find the right vehicle to meet their needs. We began the Easy Auto journey right here in Cleveland in 1991, and eight years later we welcomed Sunrise Acceptance into the fold.


    Since those early days, Easy Auto and Sunrise Acceptance have blossomed, spreading our roots with the addition of our Knoxville, TN outlet in 2009, setting up shop in Dalton, GA in 2011, and then the relocation of our Cleveland, TN store and opening our Reconditioning Center in the same year. Our growth continued with the launch of our Murfreesboro, TN dealership in 2014 and most recently, in July 2021, we were thrilled to introduce our sixth location in Rome, GA.


    Today, our team includes over 150 dedicated employees. Our core values are based on The Golden Rule. This means we're all about friendliness, integrity, and fairness, not just among ourselves but in every interaction with our customers. We're equally committed to fostering a supportive work environment, where career growth is not just a possibility but a priority. In fact, over 80% of our management team climbed the ranks from within, a testament to our belief in nurturing talent from the ground up.

    Sales Representatives

    Our Sales Representatives are into helping people - they're honest and friendly with everyone! Through prospecting, referrals, and walk-in customers, our Sales Team works together to give our customers an unforgettable buying experience. We don't over-staff our Sales departments. We prefer a small group of loyal and solid contributors who want to work hard to earn a good living in one place that can be a home away from home. We also believe in having a good work and life balance - all while earning a great income. We expect our Sales Representatives to work no more than 45 - 50 hours per week.

    • Compensation

      We expect our Sales Representatives to work no more than 45 - 50 hours per week. Our top performers typically make $80,000 - $100,000+ annually, and our average experienced Sales Representatives generally make over $73,000.

    • Experience Required

      Don't have sales experience? Not a problem! We have a great training program for driven and self-motivated candidates, which includes a guaranteed salary for twelve months.

    • Career Progression

      Over 90% of our Sales Management team have been promoted through the Sales staff. There is also potential for a future in Operations if you are so inclined.

    Account Managers

    Account Managers provide our customers an outstanding customer experience, building relationships with the customers in their portfolios. They work with our customers to set up mutually agreeable payment plans, sometimes in difficult situations. Our Account Managers generally start as Account Representatives, receiving extensive training to prepare them. They work in a team setting at our beautiful Sunrise Acceptance Main Office and enjoy ongoing training to help them provide the utmost in customer service.

    • Compensation

      Our Account Managers typically average $45,000, while our top performers earn over $60,000 per year.

    • Experience Required

      No specific account management experience is required, but a demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service in challenging circumstances is helpful.

    • Career Progression

      All of our Collections Management Team have been promoted through the Department.

    Mechanics

    Our Mechanics keep our stores stocked with reliable, front-line ready vehicles we are proud to put our families and customers in. They generally work in a team setting in one of our climate-controlled shops behind our Cleveland dealership.


    With over 25 Mechanics and Senior Mechanics on our team, we have hundreds of years of experience we share with each other. Many of our Mechanics have worked at franchised dealerships, but prefer the consistency of a Monday - Thursday, 40-hour weekly schedule, all year round. We provide ongoing training opportunities and encourage our team to earn additional ASE certifications – we even provide tuition reimbursements and pay increases for earning these certifications.

    • Compensation

      Our Mechanics are paid an hourly rate plus a weekly bonus (no book or flat rate time!). Pay ranges start at $15/hr and go up to $20+/hr for Senior Mechanics.

    • Experience Required

      We have a variety of positions from tire technicians to powersports mechanics to senior diagnostic professionals. We can always use someone with the education and/or training to make a pre-owned vehicle perform at its best.

    • Career Progression

      There are opportunities to advance in training and experience as a mechanic, or to even move into management within our reconditioning facilities.
